Targeting the Whole Society, MoSA Distributes Basic Food Assistance
BANDUNG (July 5, 2020) - The Ministry of Social Affairs 'Dharma Wanita Advisor and representing the Forward Indonesia Cabinet OASE, Grace Batubara, distributed social assistance packages for the Ministry of Social Affairs' Basic Food packages in Bandung Regency to target all levels of society with COVID-19 that has not been touched by assistance, Saturday (04 / 07).

 "We from the Ministry of Social Affairs are present in Bandung Regency to provide basic food assistance at 3 points. Hopefully it is well received. This assistance from the Ministry of Social Affairs is a plan and hopefully it can ease the burden on all ladies who are affected by COVID-19," said Grace.

The three location points visited were the Padamukti Village Office, Solokan Jeruk District; Al Islam Simagalih TK, Sekarwangi Village, Soreang District; and the Pasirjambu District Office, Bandung Regency, with a total of 500 basic food packages each location.

In accordance with the direction of the Minister of Social Affairs, the Ministry of Social's basic needs are distributed so that they can touch all levels of society affected by COVID-19.

The Ministry of Social Affairs Social Assistance is aimed at people affected by COVID-19 who are not included in the Integrated Social Welfare Data (DTKS) and have never received assistance from the Family Hope Program (PKH) or Non-Cash Social Assistance (BPNT) / Staple Food Program. Recipients of the Ministry of Social Affairs Social Aid Present can be proposed by the Neighbourhood/Hamlet/Urban Village which is then verified by the Ministry of Social Affairs through Potential and Sources of Social Welfare (PSKS).

The Head of Padamukti Village, Unang Rubaman, conveyed that the Ministry of Social Affairs' basic needs were distributed today to village residents who had not received PKH and BPNT assistance.

"Hopefully the people of Padamukti Village will be more prosperous, especially when facing the COVID-19 pandemic. Thank you, Ministry of Social Affairs," said Unang.

 In line with Unang, Asep Suryana, Section Head of Social and Cultural Affairs, Pasirjambu Subdistrict, expressed his appreciation for the Ministry of Social's basic food assistance which has been distributed to reduce the burden on residents in Pasirjambu District.

The series of distribution of basic food assistance from the Ministry of Social Affairs Hadiemr by the Ministry of Social Affairs' Dharma Wanita Advisor is planned to continue today at the Babakan Pasar Urban Village Office, Central Bogor District, Bogor City on Sunday, July 5, 2020.
